Bzz Agent - Chili's Guiltless Grill Campaign

Did you know that I am a BzzAgent?

I've been a member for awhile and I have gotten to take part in some really fun campaigns. As a BzzAgent, I have the opportunity to try products and services at no cost with samples, coupons and stuff like that. Then I make my voice heard by sharing my honest opinions with others, including some of the largest companies in the world. Want to learn more and sign up to join in the fun? Registration is free, check it out at BzzAgent.com today!

The latest campaign I am participating in is for the Chili's Guiltless Grill. I have been eating at Chili's for almost 20 years and I have always been a big fan. As I age, I have come to realize that nutrition and portion control are becoming much more important than they used to be. Enter Chili's Guiltless Grill! Six tasty options with less than 750 calories each! Same great Chili's taste with a lot fewer calories.

As a campaign member, I received several coupons for a free Guiltless Grill entree at Chili's. My favorite is the Guiltless Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It's even better than the original!

The next time you are out at Chili's take a look at the Guiltless Grill menu and give it a try. Your body will thank you for it!

Wrapping up National Cleaning Week

As the week comes to a close, I am trying to decide if I was able to "throw out" fifty things. I think I did a pretty good job.

In the last few days, I was able to Freecycle around 35 home school books, half a bottle of wall paper remover and another small box of miscellaneous stuff for goodwill.

I have a few listings prepared for eBay and I have my stuff all ready to go to the consignment shop. Unfortunately the week got away from me and I haven't been yet. Whatever they don't take I think I will try to sell on eBay.

I also helped mom Freecycle 2 bathroom scales.

Overall I think I did a pretty good job. I plan to continue my efforts to see what other things I can eliminate from my life. I love that I am slowly seeing the clutter disappear!

Operation: Hi Mom

Canvas on Demand offers a program that gives hundreds of our deployed military men and women a free fine-art canvas that will be presented to their moms on Mother's Day. The beautiful 16"x20" Pixel Painting canvas, created from a favorite photo, has the look and feel of a traditional custom painting. It is a personalized keepsake that mom will hang in a place of honor and cherish forever.

Canvas On Demand will be sending 500 Canvases to Moms of deployed US troops for Mothers Day as part of Operation: Hi Mom. If more than 500 requests are made, recipients will be selected at random.

U.S. orders only. Allow six weeks for delivery.

Update: Throw Out Fifty Things!

I am well on my way to "throwing out" fifty things! In addition to the items I previously mentioned, I have also gotten rid of the following:

I Freecycled some mason jars, a pizza pan, some cookbooks, a formal dress, and (hopefully she comes to pick it up) an FM transmitter. (I think there was something else.....)

Donated 2 golf bags (we don't even golf!!), some books, the head and foot boards from a set of bunk beds (the rails didn't make it here from the last house, weird), and a big box of assorted stuff, some of it from mom's house.

Threw away a couple of boxes I didn't need from a hair dryer (I know, why did I keep it?) and a pair of skates.

I have a few more things listed on Freecycle and I am going to list a few things on eBay this weekend! I will continue to list more stuff on Freecycle throughout the week.

I have some stuff ready to go to the consignment store, too. I just need to do it!

And, I "sold" 2 boxes of books! I should make about $20 on these.

Mom cleaned out a bunch of stuff, too! YAY!!!

Anyone else?

National Cleaning Week!

This week, March 22 to March 28, is National Cleaning Week!

I have been inspired to "Throw Out Fifty Things!"

I don't plan to actually "throw out" anything that isn't trash but I will get it out of the house. I plan to either donate or sell at least 50 "things"!

I got an early start by listing a few things on Free Cycle. A few things have been picked up already and hopefully more will be picked up this weekend!

For more information and to see my inspiration to "Throw Out Fifty Things" go here.

So far I have gotten rid of:

1. An old meat grinder (I know, I asked for it)
2. A men's suit
3. A garment bag

I have 2 bags full of stuff to donate to the food bank or church.

I also have a few items boxed up to donate to a thrift store:

A grater I used for laundry soap (I use the food processor now)
An old hairbrush (it's clean!)
1 cook book
4 books I got from the Free bin at the library
An old door knob

I have some clothes set aside to donate for rags.

I threw away 3 old makeup brushes.

And, the kids have both cleaned out their "shorts" drawers so I have several pairs of shorts to sell on eBay or at the consignment store. What I can't easily sell I will donate.

Oh, I also have 9 items of clothing and 1 mini crock pot to take to the consignment store.

I think I am off to a good start! Hopefully I can get most of it dealt with by next weekend.

Who's with me?? Anyone?

**Oh yeah, did I mention I also gave away 2 boxes of cereal we just weren't going to eat (the sell-by date had just passed, so at least it won't go to waste!)
